Product Description

The Endurex 540 insulated spandrel glass panel is a laminated composite consisting of ceramic-backed spandrel glass, an insulating core material and a finished interior. This solution provides a low cost, glazing option for all curtain wall, spandrel and window applications.

Endurex 540 panels can be produced in any thickness desired and with our full variety of insulation types in order to meet a specified insulating value. There is no panel substrate necessary for the face - the spandrel glass is sufficient. However, any of our standard substrates can be selected for the panel back. See Features and Benefits tab for more details. If the panel back is visible, our full line of architectural finishes is available for the back of the panel in order to meet the desired look for the interior.

Stabilizers

Nudo offers a wide variety of stabilizer options to meet the requirements of your building project. Panel stabilizers offer features such as moisture resistance, fire-resistance and impact resistance. Tailor your panel options to provide the optimum solution.

Best

Composite

This innovative stabilizer consists of a solid thermoplastic recycled core. Will not absorb or retain moisture while providing excellent rigidity and impact resistance. The composite stabilizer can also be formed if necessary, making it the ideal choice for all glazing and store-front applications.

Better

Corrugated

Lightweight and moisture resistance are the primary benefits of the corrugated stabilizer. Not the ideal choice if impact resistance and rigidity are key factors.

Good

Hardboard

Traditional stabilizer prior to the advent of next generation plastic stabilizers. Hardboard is an engineered wood product with good rigidity and impact resistance. Not the ideal choice if moisture absorption may be a concern.

Fire-Resistant

Cement Board

A stabilizer chosen primarily for its fire-resistance. Cement Board also has very good moisture resistance, impact resistance and rigidity. Also the most expensive of all standard stabilizer options.

Insulation Options

From economical standard 2lb EPS foam to fire retardant PolyIsoCyanurate Foam, the Endurex 540 panel can be configured to provide insulating values to an R-30.

Kynar® (PVDF) - Smooth or Embossed

This resin based paint system (also known as PVDF), protects aluminum and keeps painted metal looking vibrant and like new. It is available in dozens of standard colors.
Custom colors also available.

Premium Colors

Polyester - Smooth or Embossed

Polyester colors are available in smooth or embossed on all stabilizers.

Anodized - Smooth

A full range of anodized colors are available.

Web colors are never a 100% accurate representation of the actual painted metal. Contact Nudo for aluminum color chips to insure you have the correct color for your project. Call Nudo for a quote on all Premium Colors. Not all colors and finishes are available on composite stabilizer. Call for Kynar colors available in embossed aluminum. Normal lead time for panels with standard Kynar or Anodized colors is 4 weeks. Custom colors also available. Normal lead time for custom colors is 6-8 weeks after color match approval. Nudo reserves the right to utilize PVDF manufacturers of their choice.
